Excitement Builds For The OSUMB Concert: LIVE Simulcast Tickets Released
The arrival of the Ohio State University Marching Band on Thursday, November 7 at 7:30 PM is highly anticipated as demand has outpaced the availability for tickets to this landmark event at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center. In response to the continued interest, a LIVE Simulcast of the performance will be broadcast in the Niswonger Lecture Hall for $10/person. This LIVE Broadcast, sponsored by media friend, WTLW/WOSN, will capture the performance from the vantage point of 5 cameras mounted in the performance hall. The video feed will be simultaneously streamed to the big screen in the Niswonger Lecture Hall enabling 175 more individuals the opportunity to experience the thrill and excitement of the event at a value price. The LIVE OSUMB Simulcast Tickets will be released for sale on Wednesday, October 30 through the Box Office at 419-238-6722 or
Tailgating makes any Ohio State event complete. The Ohio State Marching Band Concert on Thursday, November 7 is no exception. A Tailgating Party from 5:00 - 6:45 PM in the South Niswonger Parking Lot is open to all who are interested in being part of the festivities. The family fun features food sales from local businesses, including a special Buckeye cupcake from Cakecrazy and the classic hot dog from Dougie Dogs. Tailgating music and games, interactive inflatables,  and 1150 WIMA will be on-site with a LIVE remote. Raffle Tickets will be available in the Niswonger Lobby to win the stunning Stained Glass Block "O" Artwork crafted by artisan, Dave Taylor. The winner will be announced during intermission of the concert. A display of former local OSUMB members memorabilia will be on display in the Niswonger Upper Lobby. This and more will entertain as the excitement builds until the moment TBDBITL marches across the Van Wert City Schools parking lot before entering the Niswonger Performing Arts Center for the concert at 7:30 PM. 
It will be a scarlet and gray kind of day. All are encouraged to dress in the spirit of the occasion. Tailgaters are welcome to bring tents and grills. Alcohol is strictly prohibited. Set-up can begin after 3:30 PM in the South Parking Lot of the Niswonger Performing Arts Center at 10700 SR 118 South, Van Wert, OH. The Tailgating Party is sponsored by The Ohio State Alumni Association of Van Wert & Paulding Counties.
Tickets for the concert in the performance hall are sold out. LIVE Simulcast tickets for the streaming live broadcast on the big screen in the Niswonger Lecture Hall are $10/person. The Tailgating Party is free to all who are interested in taking part in the joy surrounding the arrival of The Ohio State Marching Band to the Niswonger,where inspiration is alive.

Knight Vision Receives Opportunity To Shine With The Stars

Knight Vision, the award-winning Swing Choir of Crestview High School in Convoy, Ohio has been selected to back up Christian Artists, Point of Grace during their Christmas concert at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center in Van Wert on December 15 at 7:30 PM.  Under the direction of Mrs. Danille Hancock, the Crestview Swing Choir has earned top ratings and even hosts its own competition and annual dinner theater. Knight Vision can now add National Recording Artist back up vocalist to their list of superlatives.

Knight Vision will be adding vocals on four selections during the concert: Angels We Have Heard, Let There Be Light, O Holy Night, and When Love Came Down.  Point of Grace is a two-time Grammy nominee and 10-time Dove Award winning Christian and Country vocal trio.
